Part of battling mental heatlh issues is accepting that sometimes you will relapse. And sometimes that relapse will be a pretty major one. It can set us back weeks, months, even years. These relapses can make us feel as though we’re starting all over again from the beginning, but it’s important to acknowledge them for what they are and try carrying on as normal once we’re over the worst of things.
In this audio piece I discuss my recent major relapse and the ways I’m dealing with it as early on as possible. The key to maintaining your mental health and wellness after a relapse is always inside of you, you just need to recognise it and let it work its magic.
